Decorate a Gown or Onesie

• Buy a gown or robe for the mom for the hospital, or a onesie for the baby.

• Get fabric markers or sharpies and have all the guests sign it.

• This can be a great keepsake or fun to wear whichever the mom chooses.

You can carry this activity even further and have everyone decorate a onesie for the baby with colorful stamps and fabric paint.

This is similar to pin the tail on the donkey. Get a picture of a stork carrying a baby. Make a copy of the baby for all the guest. Blindfold each guest, turn them around a few times and have them pin the baby on the stork's beak. 

Get a large tin can or other appropriate container, and decorated it with a baby theme. How about and old popcorn tin, or a pickle bucket (if you aren't planning on burying the time capsule, other wise see the resources below for guidelines). Have guests bring items to put into a time capsule, such as newspapers, magazines, video tapes of the news, cds of current popular music. It can be anything that is indicative of the current time. Have each guest write a note to the baby to add to the time capsule.

Have each guest make a page for a scrapbook or memory album. Have papers, glue, scissors, stickers, and other materials for the guest to use. Each guest could leave room for future photographs to be added and could sign and date the page. The new mom has a wonderful head start on an eclectic scrapbook.
